Refund Policy

Akemshow Refund Policy

Effective Date: 22 April 2025

This Refund Policy (“Policy”) explains when users may be eligible for refunds on Akemshow (“Platform”). By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy along with our Terms of Service.

1. General Policy

All purchases made on Akemshow— including subscriptions, premium content, fan tips, digital goods, and promotional services—are non-refundable, except where required by applicable consumer protection laws.

Akemshow provides access to digital products that are delivered instantly. As a result, all completed transactions are final.

2. Subscription Refunds

Akemshow subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

Refunds for subscriptions are only provided when:

  1. Unauthorized or fraudulent charges are detected

  2. A technical error by Akemshow causes a duplicate charge

  3. Required by local law (e.g., EU 14-day withdrawal rights where applicable)

Refunds are not provided for:

  • forgetting to cancel a subscription

  • unused or partially used subscription periods

  • dissatisfaction with creator content

Users may cancel their subscription at any time to avoid future charges.

3. Premium Content and One-Time Purchases

Payments made for:

  • premium videos

  • digital content

  • one-time unlocks

  • pay-per-view events

  • creator merchandise (if applicable)

are generally non-refundable, except if:

  • the content is completely inaccessible due to a verified platform failure

  • the wrong item was delivered due to a system malfunction

  • local consumer laws mandate a refund

Akemshow is not responsible for the quality, accuracy, or expectations of user-generated content.

4. Fan Tips and Donations

Tips, donations, and financial support sent to creators are voluntary and non-refundable under all circumstances, including:

  • sending a tip by mistake

  • dissatisfaction with creator responses

  • creator account closure

Once a tip is submitted, it cannot be reversed.

5. Advertising Purchases

Payments for Akemshow advertising services—including promotional placements and sponsored content—are non-refundable once the campaign begins.

Refunds may only be issued if:

  • Akemshow fails to deliver the purchased impressions or placement

  • The ad never launched due to an Akemshow technical issue

Refunds are not issued for poor ad performance or user error in ad setup.

6. Chargebacks and Disputes

If a user initiates a chargeback:

  • the user’s account may be suspended or terminated

  • access to purchased content may be revoked

  • pending creator payouts may be withheld during investigation

Akemshow reserves the right to contest fraudulent or invalid chargebacks.
